Sejarah Muadzam Shah

As an introduction, Muadzam Shah was formerly a forest area and from there the early settlers began planning to develop the Muadzam Shah to become a town located in the district of Rompin, Pahang. It opened in 1979 by the Pahang Tenggara Development Authority (DARA). Muadzam Shah also known as the city education this is because Muadzam Shah has a complete educational facilities.

In 1973, a research of the "Foundation of Canada Engineering" (Fenco) has created the idea of creating the Pahang Tenggara region and in that research Muadzam Shah are among 36 cities chosen to be developed under the administration of Lembaga Kemajuan Pahang Tenggara (DARA) and after 25 years, Muadzam Shah has now been placed under the administration of local government that is Rompin District since DARA are dissolved.

Muadzam Shah was inaugurated on November 12, 1977 by the Sultan of Pahang, the fifth of Majesty Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Al-Musta’in Billah Ibni Al Marhum Sultan Abu Bakar Ri’ayatuddin Al- Muadzam.

Now the development at Muadzam Shah Muadzam Shah has been evidenced by the growing population is a result of the introduction of public and private sectors in Muadzam Shah. Now there are many infrastrukrur in Muadzam Shah such as Hospital, Boarding Schools, University, Recreational Area, Muadzam Shah is also actively developing a satellite town project that will make Muadzam Shah as a developing town more than now.
